Yupoo Spreadsheet: The Albums Behind Old PandaBuy Sheets, and How to Buy From Them Safely

Checked · the PandaBuy Alternatives desk

Short answer

Yupoo is a Chinese image-hosting site, online since 2005, that many sellers use as a photo catalogue. There's nothing to pay through on Yupoo: no basket, no payment system, no buyer protection. PandaBuy sheets often linked Yupoo albums instead of products, with a note to find the seller's shop. That still works: most albums lead to the seller's Weidian or Taobao listing, which any agent can buy. What doesn't work safely is paying the seller directly by bank transfer, crypto or a friends-and-family payment: you'd have no QC, no dispute and no refund route.

16 finds that skip the album step

Each tile opens one listing directly, no album hunting needed. They open on repbuysheet.com. We cap the grid at 16 finds so it loads quickly; behind it sit 10,000+ products.

Sponsored links. Photo, name and button all open one listing on repbuysheet.com, where the seller's full photo set, the size options and the source shop link live. Dollar and yuan prices are copied from that catalog on the check date and move with the exchange rate.

From a Yupoo album to something you can buy

A Yupoo row in an old PandaBuy sheet usually needs three steps to become an order:

  1. Open the album and look for a contact or shop link, often a Weidian store link in the album description or the seller's profile.
  2. Find the matching listing in that shop by name or photo. Sellers often keep album numbers in their listing titles.
  3. Paste the listing link into an agent. Some agents, such as iTaoBuy, say they'll do the Yupoo legwork for you.

The link converter can't extract an item from a Yupoo album, because there's no item ID in it; it will tell you so and point you to these steps.

Verdict: A Yupoo album is a catalogue page. The order happens on Weidian or Taobao, through an agent.

The payment requests to refuse

The risk with Yupoo is being steered off-platform. Refuse any of these:

Paying through an agent vs paying a seller directly
PandaBuy (until 2024)Paying the Yupoo seller directly
QC photosYes, from the agent's warehouseNo
Dispute if wrongThrough the agent and marketplaceNone
Payment methodCard, PayPal, agent walletOften bank transfer, crypto, friends-and-family
Recourse if nothing arrivesAgent / payment providerUsually none

Left column = buying the seller's Weidian or Taobao listing through an agent, as PandaBuy users did.

An anti-piracy analysts' report from Karg und Petersen describes Yupoo's role as a shop window for sellers; whatever you think of that, it means many albums are run by people who'd prefer payment outside any platform. Don't oblige.

Verdict: Never pay a Yupoo seller directly. Buy their listing through an agent or not at all.

Why PandaBuy sheets were full of Yupoo albums

Why were Yupoo albums so common in PandaBuy sheets? Albums show many photos, often more than the shop listing, and sellers update them as new stock arrives. A sheet author could link one album instead of dozens of listings. The cost was always an extra step for the buyer, which PandaBuy didn't remove either.

Today the same trade-off applies. For quick shopping, use sheets that link listings directly, like this site's clothes and shoes sheets, where every tile opens a single item. Use albums when you're after a specific seller's range.

Verdict: Albums are good for browsing a seller's range, poor for ordering. Convert them to listings first.

Using Yupoo for what it's good at

Yupoo albums do have a real use: photos. Sellers often post far more pictures in an album than on their shop listing, including close-ups and on-body shots, and that can help you decide before ordering. Treat the album as reference material:

  1. Save the album photos of the item you want.
  2. Find the listing in the seller's Weidian or Taobao shop and order it through an agent.
  3. When the agent's QC photos arrive, compare them with the album photos, not with memory.

Albums can also be out of date. A seller might keep photos of a sold-out batch for months, so an item in an album isn't proof it's still for sale; the shop listing is. Our tiles avoid the problem by linking the live listing directly.

Last, a privacy note. Some album pages ask you to log in or add the seller on WeChat to see prices. Adding a seller is fine if you only use it to find the listing link; don't move payment or personal details into that chat. The PandaBuy clone guide covers the same kind of off-platform pressure.

Verdict: Use albums for photos, shops for ordering, and agents for paying.

Saving a Yupoo row so you can find it again

Yupoo albums are often deleted or renamed, so a row that depends on one can vanish. When you find something you want:

  • Save the photo itself, not only the album link.
  • Note the seller's item code if the album shows one; many put it in the caption.
  • Record the price and currency the album states, so an agent can check it.
  • Look for the same item on Weidian. Once you have a Weidian link, any agent can buy it and the converter can read it.

Many Yupoo rows in PandaBuy-era sheets now lead to removed albums. A photo and a code are what let you track the item down again.

Verdict: Keep the photo and the seller's code. Album links don't last.

Yupoo questions

Can I buy directly from Yupoo?

No. Yupoo is a Chinese image host, running since 2005, and it has no basket, no payment system and no buyer protection. Sellers use albums as a catalogue, while the actual sale happens in their Weidian or Taobao shop. Find that listing and paste it into an open agent, which adds QC photos and a dispute route. Treat Yupoo as the shop window and the agent as the till.

How do I find the product from a Yupoo album?

Start with the album description or the seller's profile, where a Weidian store link usually sits. Open that shop and match the item by name or photo; many sellers put the album number in their listing titles, which speeds things up. Once you have the listing, paste it into an agent. If an album shows no shop link at all, move on to another seller rather than chasing this one.

Should I pay a Yupoo seller by bank transfer or crypto?

No. Paying a seller directly by bank transfer, crypto or a friends-and-family payment removes every safety net: no warehouse photos, no dispute and nothing to claim if the parcel never arrives. Paying an agent by card or PayPal keeps all three. Karg und Petersen's report describes Yupoo as a shop window, and off-platform payment is where that turns risky. Buy the listing through an agent or walk away.

Did PandaBuy buy from Yupoo?

Not from Yupoo itself, because there was never anything to buy there. When a PandaBuy sheet linked an album, the buyer had to dig out the seller's Weidian or Taobao listing, and PandaBuy then purchased that listing like any other pasted link. PandaBuy never removed that extra step. Sheets that link single listings save you the work, so prefer them when you have a choice.

Which agents help with Yupoo albums?

iTaoBuy says it will do the Yupoo legwork for you, finding the listing an album points to. Most other agents need the actual Weidian or Taobao item link before they can place an order, exactly as PandaBuy did. The three album-to-listing steps on this page usually get you there without help. Try them yourself first, and turn to iTaoBuy when an album gives no clue.

Why can't the converter read Yupoo links?

The link converter works by pulling a marketplace item ID out of a URL, and a Yupoo album address carries no such ID: it points at a photo gallery, not a Weidian or Taobao product. Rather than guess, the tool tells you so. Follow the three album-to-listing steps by hand, then paste the Weidian link you find into the converter or straight into an agent.

Why do Yupoo links in old sheets stop working?

Sellers delete, rename or move albums, and some get removed after complaints, so plenty of Yupoo rows in PandaBuy-era sheets now open on nothing. A seller may also keep photos of a sold-out batch online for months. Save the image itself, copy the seller's item code from the caption and write down the stated price. With a code and a photo, you can trace the item on Weidian later.

Put together by the PandaBuy Alternatives desk; every claim was checked against the list below on . The PandaBuy history leans on court records, police-side reporting and Wikipedia; agent fees, storage and review counts come from each agent's own pages or the named trackers. Where sources disagree we print both. A finds tile was only published if its main photo and its link showed the same item.
